Connect your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT) to your store

What it is

Your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT...) connects directly to your Shopify store and Maginali: it can read your products, create and edit templates, then generate visuals — all from a simple conversation.

Prerequisite

The Maginali app must be installed on your Shopify store.

Connection URL

Connecting from Claude Desktop

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Connectors
3. Click Add custom connector
4. Paste the MCP server URL above
5. Follow the authorization steps

Connecting from ChatGPT

Available on the Plus, Pro, and Team plans.

1. Open Settings, then Connectors
2. Add a custom connector and paste the MCP server URL

What happens next

1. Enter your store domain
2. You're redirected to your Shopify admin
3. Click Authorize to confirm the connection

What your assistant can do

• Read the store's products
• List, create, edit, and duplicate templates
• Generate a visual from a template
• Generate an image with AI
• Remove an image's background

• “List my products and create an Instagram post for the most expensive one”
• “Edit my promo template: midnight blue background”
• “Remove the background from this product photo”
• “Create a template for a summer collection”

AI credits

AI operations use your store's plan credits, just like in the app.
